Empowering Youth To Realize Their Full Potential

Music Olympics

What is the Music Olympics?

The Music Olympics is a FREE in-person and virtual solo and ensemble collaborative program open to brass, percussion, piano, string, voice and woodwind participants in grades k-12. For the in-person competition, participants are required to enter as a team of at least 2 members and up to 12 members. We encourage young musicians to create teams with mixed grade levels, instrumentation, and schools.

Coaching Opportunities

The Music Olympics provides equitable opportunities for all young musicians. We believe in providing an opportunity for musical growth and guidance for young musicians who may not take private music lessons or do not know that this even exists. These FREE coaching sessions will be scheduled as participants are learning their solo & ensemble pieces to ensure that they are confident in sharing their performances publicly. After the online registration forms have been submitted, we will contact each entry via email to schedule their coaching sessions. Priority will be given to students who do not currently take private lessons for the instrument that they are registering for. Past coaching sessions have been led by local professional musicians and educators.
